Hands & Heart Skills Development Centre (H&H) is a response to the need to provide the young men in our area with skills to enable them to become self-sustainable and contributing members of society. The Centre is in the process of being accredited and concentrates on uplifting and developing young men in woodworking and construction skills which is a one year course.
At the end of the course, every student receives a toolbox filled with basic tools as start-up assistance. The course is not only technical/practical orientated but a lot of classroom work is also done e.g mathematics, as well a life skills development at a physical, mental and spiritual level.
The students are also trained in the use of computers especially the use of basic excel so that they can do quotes and budgets.
